RABAB

רבב  - Resh Beth Beth

Psalms 104:24 — “O Lord, how manifold are your works! In wisdom have You made them all; the earth is full of your creatures (possessions, riches).” AMPC

The word rebab means to become many, numerous, yet stemming for one original source. The word YHVH comes from three words Hayah which means “was,” Hoveh meaning “is,” and Yiheyeh meaning “will be.” Therefore, the Lord’s Name encompasses all of time and the diversity that is in the world while designed to be interwoven is the unity of its Designer, God. This verse expresses an awe, wonder, and marvel that with such diversity in the world there can be unity. For God created and owns it all.

This means that although we are all different, in appearance, personalities, and even in biblical and world views. God is so personal with each one that He created very uniquely. It takes an immense variety of people for Him to even begin to exercise the infinite ways He has of relating to people by His Spirit. No wonder the greatest commandment is not for someone to be of a particular denomination but that we shall love the Lord our God with all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength. For this is how He is able to exercise that unique way of loving us for who He uniquely and meticulously designed us to be in Him. As Christ is formed in us by the Spirit and Truth, how beautiful is God’s manifold creation!
