From Gethsemane to Resurrection Beneath the olive tree, bowed in the night, An earnest prayer, for strength amid plight. Helpless and hopeless, so it seems, God has a plan, always to redeem. A path grown dark, a stone rolled in place, But not without hope, because of His grace. Many have known, the darkness of a tomb, But God's plan to redeem, still has room. Feeling Helpless and Hopeless may be a norm, But God has a plan, to redeem amid the storm. My prayer for you, who may feel as doomed, Is to remember, there is still an empty tomb. DAS / 2026

Poetry with a Message He Warms the Heart Waxed Cold His heart grew cold through silent years, Through unmet hopes and hidden fears. Wrapped tight within the shadows low, To wax still colder by each wind to blow. Experience carved its rigid lines; Trust withered slowly on the vine. He learned to stand, yet would not feel, Guarding wounds that would not heal. But You drew near with quiet grace, And warmed his heart to what he could not face. You gently healed him from within, And loved him still, forgiving sin. At last the winter lost its hold; Old wounds began at last to close. God’s Spirit sealed the broken part, A light awakened in his heart. Now warmth where once the cold had grown, A living light the heart has known. The heart once hardened, dark and cold, Now lives restored, and bright with gold. Where hearts once hardened in winter's cold, Your living light now takes its hold. What grace has warmed, no night can claim For risen life has come again.

Psalm 5:11-12 [NLT] "But let all who take refuge in You rejoice; let them sing joyful praises forever. Spread Your protection over them, that all who love Your Name may be filled with joy. 12 For You bless the godly, O Lord; You surround them with Your shield of love."

Palm Sunday

Worth the WAIT? You can count on it! After all, Resurrection Sunday is coming!

The devil has always had his wily strategies to wear out the minds of the Saints of God.

My beloved speaks and says to me, rise up, my love, my fair one and come away."

Amazing Grace!

May the Holy Spirit help us, as He did David
