The Depths of God's Mercy - Pt.3

September 9, 2020 Speaker: Pastor Anthony Stevens Series: The Depths Of God

Topic: Discipleship, Christian Growth, Mercy Passage: Romans 11:33, Luke 18:9-14, Luke 17:20-21, Psalm 143:1

THANK YOU for sharing and showing His mercy to me.

Have you ever noticed how subtle pride is? Is not pride blind to the need for mercy and for the need for mercy to follow it all the days of its life? Are we not all in desperate need of mercy each and every day?

As someone who has failed plenty in his life, and still does, and is so undeserving of our Lord to even look upon him, I am very grateful to know Jesus Christ today as my savior and Lord. And most importantly, to know I am so blessed and in tears this day, to know that, by His amazing grace, we can cry out unto our God, "Lord, be merciful to me, a sinner!", Luke 18:13b. And we can know that His eyes are even upon THIS sparrow, Matthew 6:26.  Although and most certainly not deserved, (as it would not be mercy if deserved), we are SO LOVED and SO VERY BLESSED to be recipients of His Love, Grace, and Mercy. And to know that He follows us all the days of our lives, Psalm 23:6, as He will never leave nor forsake us, Hebrews 13:5. Again, THANK YOU for sharing and showing His mercy to me.
