The Undeserved Love & Compassion Of Our Heavenly Father

Speaker: Pastor Anthony Stevens Series: The Undeserved Love & Compassion Topic: Forgiveness, Compassion, Love Passage: Luke 15:11-32

Undeserved LoveOver the last three weeks, we have spoken about (1) what is essential to Christ's Church, (2) Kingdom, Spiritual Warfare (3), and discerning where our true Hope is.

Although these are foundational, we pray that this series will bring in a beautiful balance that comes from our Father’s Heart.

There are times that righteous indignation will turn over some tables to expose what is hidden beneath them, or, reject what is lying on their surface, both in communicating the Truth in love.

Yet, there are other times, when one calmly and objectively takes in the panoramic view of what is going on and weeps due to the compassion and love of the Father that desires to gather all together and embrace them.

The next series will be on "The Compassion that is produced through the Cross of Christ that will always reveal our Heavenly Father’s love”.

This compassion is drawn from the deep well of God's essence which is love. A compassion that is directed towards the human race with an understanding that does not go by sight or even by what it hears from many voices.

It's a compassion that truly listens to the needs of others and their heart's cries that is coming from deep within. With a longing to meet that need due to the love of God.

Saints of God, please pray with me...Heavenly Father, by Your Holy Spirit, please help me to develop this teaching from Your heart. And by Your Spirit, write it upon my own.

O Lord, through Your Cross, may the natural thinking of man, with its biases, be reckoned as co-crucified with You, that it is Your Heart-beat that others hear.

May we be a Church of Compassion that is produced through the Cross of Christ and Him Crucified, revealing the love of Father to the world.

That we may have a Christ-like fragrance that rises up to God and draws others unto Him. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Ephesians 4:32 "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you."
