My Confidence

A Christian’s identity is not founded upon how he or she feels in their connection with God. It is founded upon the absolute Truth of Who God is and what He has done through His Son, Jesus Christ.

Prayerfully ponder just a few of these absolute Truths regarding the Character and Nature of God and His thoughts towards us as also seen in Jeremiah 29:11.

Jeremiah 1:5 — “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born, I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations.

Jeremiah 31:3 — “The Lord appeared to him from far away. I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore, I have continued My faithfulness to you.

John 1:12 — “But to all who did receive Him, who believed in His Name, He gave the right to become children of God,”

Romans 8:15 — “For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, ‘Abba! Father!’ ”

1 Corinthians 15:3 — “For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures.”

Hebrews 4:16 — “Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”

We have never “not been,” nor will we ever “not be,” a part of God’s plan. For we are forever loved, accepted, forgiven, and cared for. This is who we are.
