Psalms 23:4—Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

The God of all Creation is with me – and with YOU! Although there are countless stars and planets in the universe, the earth is but one little speck among them, and we are but one little speck on the earth. Yet, we can be absolutely assured that God is with us.

A nineteenth century rabbi taught that we fear no evil for He is “standing in preparation to act.” God is ready and prepared to act if just a hint of a hindrance presents itself regarding what He has appointed for us. God will rise up as a strong support, and He stands firm in His position at our side like a personal bodyguard.

In the Persian language, this was a picture of persistence in maintaining the value of something. Even when we fail, even when we are stressed out, we will never be down and out for His eyes are upon us as His most precious treasure in His Son.

We need not live in fear regarding our future, for we can face it by faith and look to Jesus and declare, God is with me and is for me! A declaration that paralyzes the enemy, exposes his lies, and releases the saints of God to enjoy the abundant Life which Jesus has made available for each of them.
