Small Groups
Small groups are called by some, "Care
Groups".
These settings provide a
wonderful opportunity to connect with others
in a warm and friendly atmosphere, where
Truth and godly relationships are built, one
on one.
To quote Rick Warren, "You
(we) need to be aware of the signs of a
possible spiritual awakening in America.
We've had two great awakenings in the
history of America, and we're a hundred
years over due for the next one. If there is
a second Reformation in the Church and a
third spiritual awakening in the world or in
America, it will come through two words — 'small groups.'”

Our ultimate goal
is to glorify God, and to be a blessing to our Pastor and to the
Body of Christ.

Our desire is to be
a “transition ministry” from the Teen Ministry to a TEAM ministry.

|
To go from being
“ministered unto”, to “ministering to others”, so that we may grow
to know Him.

|
And, as we are
being made living epistles, individually and as a TEAM, we “make Him
known”.

Teen Ministry
Our desire is that no age group gets “left
behind”; especially those who will be carrying on the work of God
called, “The Church”. Our goal is to meet young people where they’re
at, and to become a conduit that will lead them into a personal
encounter with Jesus Christ, where they can spiritually mature into
“make a difference people” in their generation... and not to
mention, having a great FUN TIME together! “Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of
the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in
faith, in purity.”(KJV 1Timothy 4:12)

Because children need the Word
|
Christian Education Department
Although we are all very fond of the title “Sunday School”, the decision
was made to change the name to one that better describes our primary
purpose; which is, to impart to our children a true Christian
education. Along with a spirit-filled staff, the following teaching
series is how we chose to accomplish this eternal purpose.
The title says it all…
Creative: Divine creativity applied in teaching
various topics to children in kindergarten through the eight grade.
Teaching: Teaching the basic fundamentals of our faith
at age appropriate levels; i.e. salvation by grace through faith, prayer,
forgiveness, kindness, body-life, and much more.
Series: Line upon line of teaching, here a little, there a
little, where each class builds categorically upon the previous class.
"Then little children were brought to Him that He might put His hands on
them and pray, but the disciples rebuked them. But Jesus said, 'Let the
little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the
kingdom of heaven.'
(KJV Matt. 19:13-14)

ABI Class In Session
|
Founded in 1988, as a part of The Bible Speaks Church, ABI offers in-depth
course studies of God’s Word each semester for those that want to take their
faith into greater maturity. These Bible school courses are very rich and
engaging, as well as wonderfully inspirational. Certificate programs and
Associates Degrees are available, as well as non-credit classes taken for
audit.
ABI’s Educational Director, Pastor Anthony Stevens, describes Aletheia this way:
